Tipping taxi drivers in Casablanca isn’t required, but it’s normal to round the fare up to the nearest few dirhams, or add around 10% for a helpful driver or one who handled luggage. On a metered petit taxi, simply letting them keep the small change is the usual gesture.

For longer trips, an agreed grand-taxi fare, or an airport run where the driver helped with bags, a slightly larger tip of 10–20 dirhams is a kind touch but still discretionary. Always agree the price first on any non-metered ride to avoid a dispute later.

Carry small notes and coins so you can round up easily, as drivers often claim to have no change. Tipping is appreciated across Morocco but never obligatory for a standard taxi journey.
