Is Revolut accepted in Morocco?

Revolut works in Morocco for card payments where cards are accepted and for ATM withdrawals, but Morocco is heavily cash-based, so you can’t rely on it alone. Your Revolut card will tap or swipe fine in mid-range hotels, larger shops, supermarkets and some restaurants in the cities, and it’s excellent for getting the interbank exchange rate.

The catch is that most machines charge their own dirham withdrawal fee regardless of your card, and small riads, souks, taxis, desert camps and rural areas are cash-only. Use Revolut to withdraw dirhams cheaply, then spend cash for day-to-day life.

Bring a backup card too, since a single card being declined or eaten by an ATM is a real risk far from a bank. Treat Revolut as a great way to fund your cash, not a replacement for it.
