Is Paradise Valley crowded in summer?

Paradise Valley, in the hills above Agadir and Taghazout, does get busy in summer and at weekends, when its palm-lined pools and cliff-jumping spots draw both tourists and local families. It’s no longer a hidden gem, so peak times can feel crowded, especially at the main, easily reached pools.

To enjoy it more quietly, go early in the day or midweek, and walk further upstream past the first accessible pools, where the crowds thin out. Water levels vary seasonally — the pools are fullest after winter rains and can shrink in high summer.

It’s still a beautiful green escape from the coast, with palm groves, natural pools and the option to jump from the rocks where it’s safe. Just set expectations for company at the popular spots in peak season.
