Itineraries & routing
Can you combine Morocco and Spain in two weeks?
Yes, two weeks is comfortable for combining Spain and Morocco, most naturally by crossing the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry between Tarifa/Algeciras and Tangier, which takes about an hour. A week in each, linked by the ferry, gives a satisfying two-country trip.
A popular split is southern Spain (Seville, Granada, Tarifa) then ferry to Tangier and down through Chefchaouen, Fes and Marrakech, or the reverse. The fast ferry from Tarifa lands you right in Tangier city, while Algeciras serves the larger Tanger Med port.
Keep an eye on the differing rhythms and a possible time difference, and don’t overpack the schedule with two countries to cover. Two weeks lets you enjoy Andalusia and a solid Moroccan loop without rushing either.
