Is Morocco warm enough to swim in October?

Yes, Morocco is generally warm enough to swim in October, especially in the south and along the Atlantic coast, where the sea holds summer warmth and air temperatures stay pleasantly warm. Agadir and the southern coast are your best bets, with comfortable sea swimming well into autumn.

The Atlantic is always on the cool side because of the currents, so the water feels brisk rather than tropical even in summer; October swimming is easiest in the warmer south and in hotel or riad pools, which stay usable across the month. Mediterranean-side spots near the north also work early in October.

Inland, pools at riads and hotels are still enjoyable during warm October days. For dedicated beach swimming, head south to Agadir or Taghazout, where the season stretches comfortably into autumn.
