Are there kid friendly beaches near Agadir?

Yes, Agadir’s main beach is one of the most family-friendly in Morocco — a long, wide crescent of sand with gentle, sheltered water, a promenade, and calmer swimming than most of Morocco’s windy Atlantic coast. Its bay setting makes the sea more manageable for children than exposed surf beaches.

The beach has cafés, sun loungers and space to play, and the resort infrastructure means facilities are close by. Nearby Taghazout is more of a surf spot with stronger waves, so Agadir town beach is the safer choice for little swimmers.

Sun protection and shade are important given the exposure, and keep an eye on children in any Atlantic water. For a straightforward beach day with kids, Agadir is well set up.
