Do budget hotels in Morocco provide towels?
Most budget hotels and riads in Morocco provide towels, but the cheapest hostels, dorms and very basic guesthouses sometimes don’t, or charge a small hire fee, so it’s worth checking or packing a lightweight travel towel. For anything mid-range and up, towels are standard.
At rock-bottom hostels and some pilgrim-style lodgings, a quick-dry travel towel is a handy backup, and it’s also useful for the hammam, the beach and desert camps. Confirm on the listing or when booking if you’re staying somewhere very cheap.
Soap and basic amenities can also be minimal at the budget end, so a small wash kit is wise. Once you’re into standard riads, expect towels, linens and basic toiletries provided.
