Program Itinerary of the 8 Days Tour from Casablanca

Day 1

Casablanca » Rabat » Meknes » Fes [338 Km]

Your 8-day tour starts in Casablanca with the Hassan II Mosque. We continue to Rabat, the administrative capital, to see the Hassan Tower. Finally, we arrive in Fes for dinner and the night at a traditional riad.

Day 2

Fes Sightseeing tour with a local guide

After breakfast, we meet a local guide and spend most of the day in the medina, the old part of the city. This full-day tour lets you explore many historic sites: the Jewish quarter, the Royal Palace, the old souks, and the tanneries.

Day 3

Fes » Azrou (Cedar forest) » Medilt » Ziz Valley » Merzouga Desert [460 km]

We depart around 8:30 am for the desert via Ifrane, and then the Azrou cedar forest, where you can watch the wild monkeys climbing the trees.

We continue via Erfoud, famous for its fossil marble, and Rissani — a trading town where the tribes gather to buy and sell — before arriving in Merzouga and the desert itself.

Day 4

Tour around Erg Chebbi Dunes & Visit a Nomad family [45 km]

Today we explore the Erg Chebbi dunes, where nomads still live. The day begins in Khamlia with traditional Gnawa music.

We visit a palm oasis and some abandoned mines, then return to the guest house for a local lunch. Afterwards, you ride camels into the dunes.

Day 5

Merzouga » Rissani souk » Erfoud » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley [269 km]

After some memorable sunrise photos, we return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Then we start the journey to the Dades Valley, passing through Erfoud, famous for its fossil marble, and Jorf with its ancient irrigation systems. We continue to the Todra Gorges, one of the most beautiful canyons of the region.

Day 6

Dades » Skoura Oasis » Kasbah Taourirt » Ouarzazate » Marrakech [326 km]

After breakfast, we depart for Ouarzazate, passing mud-built Berber villages and the palm groves of Skoura.

In Ouarzazate — the little Hollywood of Africa — we visit the Atlas Studios and one of the oldest kasbahs, the Taourirt Kasbah. Then we depart for Marrakech via Morocco’s famous fortified kasbah, Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.

Ait Ben Haddou has been the perfect location for famous movies like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones.

As the road snakes through the mountains, enjoy the views from the Tizi n’Tichka pass and its beautiful cliffs. On arrival in Marrakech, we drop you at your accommodation.

Reviews about our 8 Days Tour from Casablanca

★★★★★ ✔ Tripadvisor
100% Suggested My flights were scheduled two days in advance, and I appreciate that Mohamed got back to me and tailored a schedule that included everything I wanted to see and do in Morocco! Morocco has captured my heart, and I will return for further tours! Mohamed became my part-time photographer in addition to being an excellent driver! His service had a significant positive impact on my experience. What occurs when you travel alone. I only have wonderful things to say and have made some really special memories. Gratitude for everything, Morocco Day Tour.
