15 Days Tour from Casablanca

When you arrive in Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital, we meet you and take you to your hotel, where you can check in and relax for the afternoon.

If time allows, you can choose an optional tour of the Hassan II Mosque — one of the largest mosques on earth, and stunning in its handcrafted beauty. Dinner is served at the hotel.

After breakfast, you depart for Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains to begin your 15-day trip through Morocco.

You have lunch in Rabat — the capital and home of King Mohammed VI — and enjoy this beautiful coastal city.

Then you continue to Chefchaouen, where you spend the night. Dinner is served at the hotel.

After breakfast, you set off to explore the ancient Roman ruins at Volubilis. Spend the morning discovering the 2,000-year-old site and getting a feel for Roman life.

You have lunch in Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, followed by a guided tour. Then you head on to Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual centre. Dinner is served at the hotel.

After breakfast, your guided tour takes you into the medina, one of the largest walled cities in the world. Explore narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, spices, and Berber carpets.

You visit the Royal Palace, the tanneries, and the potters, with lunch at a traditional medina restaurant. After the tour, you return to your hotel in the evening, and dinner is served at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, you begin your climb across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Coming down the other side, you wind through beautiful forests and Berber villages.

You stop for lunch in Midelt, a town famous for its fossils. After the drive, enjoy a hot bath or a dip in the pool at the kasbah, where dinner is served.

Spend most of your day relaxing at the hotel or exploring the attractive small desert towns.

In the afternoon, you drive in 4×4 vehicles through the desert to the Sahara sand dunes.

A camel ride of about half an hour takes you out into the dunes, where you can watch the sunset. You sleep in Berber tents, dinner included.

After breakfast, you return to Erfoud by 4×4, then leave Erfoud and travel behind the High Atlas Mountains to the Todra Gorges.

In the afternoon, you walk up into the 600-foot-high gorges, and beautiful river valleys carry you through the southeast of Morocco.

Before crossing the High Atlas, you spend the night at Dades. Dinner is served at the kasbah.

You drive to Ouarzazate along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, visiting ancient kasbahs set among the palm trees.

The Dades Gorges are well worth your time — a true natural wonder. When you arrive in Ouarzazate, explore this southern town, best known for the films made here. Dinner is served at the hotel.

Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, is a beautiful oasis town. Continue to Taroudant, the former capital of the Saadian dynasty. Sitting where the High Atlas mountains meet the Souss Valley, this “little Marrakech” gives you an excellent taste of southern Morocco.

Taroudant is a pleasant place to rest. Within its shaded ochre walls, you’ll enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the Berber people.

Visit the souks, known for leather, ironwork, carved and painted wood, ceramics, and old Berber coins. Spend the afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast, depart for Agadir, where a wide, shallow beach curves along a crescent of sand as far as the eye can see.

After lunch, we continue north towards Essaouira. This city has a rich history — explore its Phoenician roots and its Portuguese, Jewish, and French influences, along with a charming fishing harbour, whitewashed houses trimmed in blue, and small, narrow alleyways.

After breakfast, depart for Marrakech along the scenic inland route through the argan forest — these trees grow only in this part of the world. We stop for photos of the goats climbing the argan trees to eat the fruit.

You also visit an argan oil cooperative run by local women. Take a tour to learn how the oil is made, chat with the women, or buy some treats to take home — homemade soaps, or Amlou, a traditional Moroccan spread. Then we continue on to Marrakech.

Today you explore Marrakech, the second-oldest imperial city and the “Pearl of the South”, and discover its rich history and cultural heritage.

Wander the souks and the famous Jemaa el Fna square, alive with storytellers, water sellers, acrobats, snake charmers, magicians, musicians, orange-juice stands, and open-air barbecue food stalls. If you like, add a Fantasia dinner at a local restaurant.

Enjoy the spectacular show, with horse displays, folk troupes from different Moroccan regions, and belly dancers. You stay overnight.

Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring the medina, or take an optional half-day excursion to the Ourika Valley south of Marrakech and experience authentic Berber culture.

On your last day, we bring you back to Casablanca after a relaxing morning. If you’d like more time in Marrakech, you’re free to depart in the afternoon instead. Dinner is served at the hotel.
