We drive to Meknes today for a guided tour. As we drive through the rolling hills, we’ll visit the impressive Roman ruins at Volubilis. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the best preserved Roman ruins in this part of Northern Africa.
As you gaze up at the marble pillars and marvel at the mosaic floors, your local guide will tell you about the Roman Empire. We then continue to Meknes, leaving the Roman Empire.
After lunch, we begin our tour with a guided visit to the Bab Mansour, built in the 18th century by Sultan Moulay Ismail. This is the ornate gate of Meknes, the imperial city.
We will continue our 10-day desert tour to the Mausoleum of Moulay-Ismail, a small but stunning mausoleum. We will then pass the entrance to the Meknes Royal Palace before arriving at the massive Heri Es Souani of Moulay Ismail. It was the personal stable and granary of his 12,000 horses. We depart Meknes and make our way towards Fes. Dinner and overnight are in Fes.
After breakfast in your Riad, you will start your tour. The medina is one of the largest walled cities in the world, dating back to the 9th Century.
Visit the Royal Palace Gate, the Jewish headquarters named “Mellah”, built in the 16th Century.
The medina is home to many artisans’ quarters. We visit the wedding adornment and brass and copper souks. Carpenters, butchers, and bakers all have special areas in the medina. The famous Fes Tannery is an amazing place to visit. From a 360-degree view, we can see the men at work dyeing and treating the hides.
Visit Al Karaouine University, founded in the 9th Century and one of many Medersas. Breakfast is included in your overnight stay at the Riad.
We continue our 10-day Morocco tour, starting in Casablanca today, as we depart Fes for Erfoud. En route, you will pass through a picturesque forest of cedars and cross the Middle Atlas Mountain Range to the mineral-mining city of Midelt, where lunch is planned. The journey continues through the Ziz Valley, which is known for its length and palm trees.
Along the road are countless ksars—small villages with individual houses. We then travel to Erfoud, which is famous for its fossils and date festival. After approximately 7 hours, you will reach your destination, the Merzouga Desert. You will spend the night and dinner in a Kasbah.
From Merzouga, you can start your Saharan adventure with a trip to a Nomad Village and a lunch break at a Kasbah Hotel by the Erg Chebbi dunes. Relax by the pool and prepare for the next stage of your journey.
As the sun sets, you can either walk or ride a camel across the sands. Once you reach the Erg Chebbi dunes, they will turn a beautiful red colour.

Enjoy a beautiful sunrise and a delicious breakfast. Then, you return to Merzouga and re-join the car to continue your journey to the stunning canyons of Todra Gorge along the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.
Hollywood has used this area for many years to film films like The Last Temptation of Christ or Jewel of the Nile. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Todra Gorges, where water springs run between the rock faces.
You can take a short walk to explore the Todra Gorge, which has walls of grey and pink rock. Continue through the Dades Valley. We spend the night at a Kasbah.

The Saadian Tombs in Marrakech date from Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur’s reign. Discovered in 1917, they were restored by Beaux-Arts. The mausoleum contains the graves of approximately sixty descendants of the Saadian Dynasty, which originated in the valley of the Draa River.

Best 10 Days desert tour from Casablanca!!
Three of my close friends and I visited Morocco. We engaged Omar as our tour guide. His knowledge, passion, sense of humour, and charm made our trip memorable.
The places we went to included Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga Desert, Marrakech, and Casablanca.
He was helpful, reliable, trustworthy, and caring. We will definitely recommend this company to anyone who would like to travel to Morocco, a lovely country.
Fabolous Morocco & Ahmed (our driver)
My friends and I had a fantastic time travelling through Morocco with our private driver, Ahmed. This agency is unique, and we highly recommend it. They pick us up at the airport in Casablanca and a night in Rabat, and then we drive to Blue City for an overnight and a city tour. We travel to Fez for two days.
The best part was staying in the desert at a luxury camp. Camel trekking—what an experience!!! Sunset as we arrived at the camp. Sunrise, breakfast, and riding the motor quads (highly recommended; they were a lot of fun).
After that, we spent three more days driving to Marrakech. We had so much fun that Ahmed joined the group, but we had to say farewell to him with regret. As we drove from city to city, we sung an Arabic song we had dubbed “Calabasas” in the vehicle. Our expectations were well exceeded by the trip.
This agency was very flexible and accommodated us in every way possible—Carmen & friends from Florida, US.
10 days from Casablanca Morocco tour
My girlfriend and I went on a 10-day desert tour from Casablanca with this company. From the beginning, our communication was so easy, and Moha was very quick in responding. Even though we asked 100 questions, he was easygoing and happy to answer.
After scheduling the tour, our driver/guide met us in Casablanca and drove us to Rabat, where we stayed in a beautiful riad (a traditional Moroccan home). Next, we traveled to the blue city of Chefchaouen, which my girlfriend had always wanted to see, and we spent two days there before continuing on to the amazing city of Fes, which is home to the oldest and largest Medina (the old town).
We had a funny experience because we got lost in some of the alleys, so we had to ask many times, which was a part of the experience which we liked. The night of the next day was the best ever. It was in the Sahara desert, where we enjoyed the beautiful sky full of stars and delicious tajine, followed by some local music.
It was hot inside the tent, so we slept outside. Every member of the camp staff was really friendly and inviting. Said was receptive when we emailed him the next day to see if we might engage in any further activities.
On the next day, we rode quad bikes for two hours and visited some nomads living in tents near the vast dunes. After that, we went back to the same town, Merzouga, where we spent a night in a perfect hotel with a swimming pool. The next day, we had to drive all the way to Marrakech because we wanted to spend more days there before we got to Essaouira. Then, we went back to Casablanca for our flight departure. We highly recommend it.
