Are there English speaking doctors in Marrakech?

Yes, there are English-speaking doctors and private clinics in Marrakech, particularly in the newer Gueliz district and at private hospitals and clinics used to treating tourists, though French is the more common medical language. Your riad or hotel can recommend and call an English-speaking doctor, who will often visit you.

Private clinics offer good, quick care for a fee (which your travel insurance should cover — keep receipts), and many doctors trained partly in French or abroad speak English. Pharmacies are also a first port of call for minor issues, and some pharmacists speak English.

For anything serious, private hospitals in Marrakech and Casablanca are the best equipped. Have your travel insurance details and emergency line saved offline, and let your accommodation help arrange care — they do it regularly.
