Can you drive a Moroccan rental car into Ceuta?
No, you generally cannot drive a Moroccan rental car into Ceuta — rental agreements almost always prohibit taking the car across the border into the Spanish enclave, and doing so voids your insurance. Ceuta is Spanish territory, so crossing means leaving Morocco, which rental companies exclude.
If you want to visit Ceuta, the practical approach is to drive your Moroccan car to the border area, park on the Moroccan side, and cross on foot into the enclave. The land crossing can be busy and bureaucratic, so allow time.
Always read your rental contract’s territorial limits and check with the company first, as breaching them can leave you personally liable in an accident. The same applies to Melilla, the other Spanish enclave.
