Is the Majorelle Garden worth the queue?

The Majorelle Garden is worth visiting, but to avoid the long queues you should book a timed ticket online in advance or arrive right at opening — the garden itself is small but exquisite, with its cobalt-blue villa, bamboo groves and cacti, once owned by Yves Saint Laurent. The crowds, not the garden, are the drawback.

Pre-booking a slot lets you skip the ticket line, and going early or late in the day means fewer people in your photos and a calmer visit. The adjoining Berber Museum and the nearby YSL Museum can be added.

Because it’s compact, you don’t need long inside, so an early timed entry gives you the beauty without the wait. If you can’t book ahead, arrive before opening to be near the front.
